“I tried to plan for the tour but the machine doesn’t like plans. It does what it wants. People stopped coming. They didn’t like what they saw, because what they saw was real history, not the stuff they made up in their own heads. The Echo Machine grabs moments, and they arrive, and then they go, and then here you are, alone again, in the now, just you and all your stories.”
