Jaime Kawamoto

Writer, Co-Founder, Marketing & Events

Jaime Kawamoto is a proud Japanese-Canadian, currently working on several features in the genre space. Roadmap Writers Career Program and Second City Toronto helped her put her BFA in screenwriting to good use, spinning trauma and anger into feminist genre (with a dark comedy underbelly!) gold.

Recently, she wrote whimsical horror feature FEET in Jumpcut Media’s incubator, adapted sci-fi novel THE PROSPECT OF MY ARRIVAL, developed her passion project bitchin’ thriller feature BETH+MAC and was invited to Stowe Story Labs to work on her offbeat 1 hr. horror series EAT ME.

Jaime writes to free the little voice inside her head: a sarcastic cheerleader with a dagger strapped to her thigh who will cut you if you touch her.
